Now that many of us are staying at home more than ever, creating a great outdoor space for summer is top on our lists! Living in Greece and being fortunate to live outside most of the time of the year it’s of our high duty to start preparing and shopping for our garden to be. And why not create a new version of our Mediterranean Gardens and enjoy with our family this hot afternoons and warm nights!

A Mediterranean Garden needs a lot of Natura by planting flowers, building up hedges, growing trees, adding pots or containers and generally go as green as you can!

And then you will need a place to sit and unwind, perhaps a pergola where underneath you  will find comfortable sofas, relaxing daybeds or welcoming benches, from companies such us Point 1920 or Atmosphera that are point of references for their natural materials, good quality, style and sophistication.
Then you will need to combine the less is more concept -to traditional Mediterranean Moroccan tiles or tiles with other patterns, in order not to overtake the entire flora scenery. A few picks of home accessories, organic vases from Rina Menardi and 101 Copenhagen to lanterns and handmade baskets. Try to make if possible a water fountain to cool the air in the heart of the summer! Lastly add a Vibia lamp and make it look like is taken from a page of a magazine!
