The folding recliner was designed by Björn Hultén. The idea was to create a piece of furniture for both outside and inside, which could withstand both weather and wind, but at the same time was stylish enough to be able to serve as a spare chair in the living room. The construction with exposed legs, two joined parallel trapezoids, gives the recliner a completely different stability than the usual garden chair.
