Bohemian ’72 sofa designed by Gabriella Crespi and produced 50 years later by Gubi. Bohemian ’72 sofa is part of a collection of furniture made of rattan that combines the designer’s interest in natural materials and curiosity for refined oriental culture in years of travel.

Soft curves, organic and sculptural shapes. A bold, elegant and sophisticated style that bridges the gap between outdoor and indoor. The designer’s goal was to create a collection of flexible seats, which could equally be adapted in the city, in the countryside, or by the sea. Attracted by rattan for its strength and versatility, a material very popular in the 70s, Gabriella Crespi was able to reinvent it thanks to the innovative technique of using repeated layers of vertically rolled rattan screws. The final result is extremely refined, flexible and timeless outdoor furniture.
